Partnership GrantGuidelines, Important Dates, and Forms


The new school year marks the kick off of this school year’s grant cycle which rewards excellence and innovation in the classroom.  Last year the Foundation awarded 19 grants worth more than $16,000 to fund projects in reading, math, music, science and more.

In order to be considered for a partnership grant, a completed Grant Proposal Application must be submitted to Steve Laatsch, SAS Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services.

In accepting an FSAS Partnership Grant recipients agree to the following:

  1. Upon receipt of a grant, the recipient will have approximately 60 days to purchase all materials and/or supplies to carry out the idea/project.  The money for the grant will be deposited in an account with Julie Campbell in the Business Office. She will help process Purchase Orders as needed to help you obtain the necessary supplies and materials. You will be asked to contact central office if an extension of this 60 day timeline is required because of special circumstances
  2. Supplies and equipment purchased with grant funds become the property of the Saline Area School District.
  3. If for any reason a grant recipient is unable to administer the approved project, the grant funding will be reallocated to the Foundation.
  4. A completed Final Report Document must be submitted to Steve Laatsch, SAS Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, by _____
