Advisor Certification is a six-hour training that reviews the latest in suicide research, curriculum review, and steps to organizing a Hope Squad. A Hope Squad is a group of students trained to recognize warning signs of students in crisis, and how to support prevention, intervention and postvention (trauma response). This grant is requesting funds to train 12 staff members who will then train students.
