Foundation for Saline Area Schools (FSAS) Launches

Search for New Executive Director


The Foundation for Saline Area Schools (FSAS) is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting the Saline school district, its students and staff.  Founded in 1987, the FSAS mission is to fund innovative educational programs, activities, and events that supplement basic school programs not provided by existing school budgets. 


In order to achieve sustainability and continued success in the future, an Executive Director is being sought to lead the organization forward.


Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for FSAS’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. S/he will demonstrate a strong commitment to education and specifically for the students of Saline Area Schools.


Responsibilities of the Executive Director require skills in the areas of leadership and management, development and communication, and legal compliance and financial management.  A four year degree, management experience in a non-profit or for profit setting, and passion, integrity and a strong work ethic are desired qualifications of the new Executive Director.  The position will be part-time with a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends will be necessary.) Salary is commensurate with experience.
