What I remember most about Saline schools is the secure environment created for students by our teachers, administrators, school board and community. We were able to confidently pursue our personal and academic goals while having fun along the way. The music program was one of the best in the state. Our athletic teams were respected, and challenging academic offerings prepared us well for careers and college. I’ve been proud all my life to say that I am a farm girl with all the advantages of small town life, along with the choice to explore the world beyond Saline. There is no better proof of my devotion to Saline schools than the decision I made to teach here for forty-seven years. That says it all.
